Ordered romano bread puffs personal cheese (comes with alot cheese) and personal The Works pizza (is overloaded with toppings) best deep dish pizza in LA IMO and I usually prefer hand tossed. Friendly service.

I enjoy the Barbeque pizza.
A Small pizza is more than enough too.
The house salad is a good portion.
The service is a little slow but it's a relaxing space.
The big comfy booths are a + . -

There's a special place in my heart for Numero Uno having grown up in the area and began coming here in the 80s! I even had my 12th birthday party here!
After a very long hiatus, I went back twice -- via delivery and Dine in respectively this year. The delivery order took over an hour and dinner salads were forgotten, but were made up taking a rain check to redeem them at a later date. Nevertheless, I'm the biggest fan of their Hawaiian deep dish pizza, comparable to a Chicago style pie and enjoy the sweet, bready pizza!
About a month later, came back for lunch and the eatery was fairly empty in the afternoon. The decor is dark and masculine and has motifs of Chicago & Italy all around. Parking is easy since this is a strip mall, but always crowded since it's next to a Starbucks! At least it's all free, right?
The waitress was super nice and accommodating, and honored the rain check for the missed dinner salads which were great. Again, I ordered my beloved Hawaiian individual pizza with its sweet tang with an Arnold Palmer. My companion loved the Meatball sub. It was all a great price and great service.
I'll definitely be back! -

Haven't been to a número uno pizza in over 15 years! All I could remember was their delicious calzones. So I decided to look up this place and head on over for some dinner. The young lady was nice enough to share her recommendations and was very knowledgeable and sweet. I decided to go for the calzone and small pizza. The calzone was as delicious as I remember. The bread is baked with butter or something in the nature, and has a subtle sweet flavor to it. Amazing! The pizza was big for a small. Ended up sharing half of both them. Definitely recommend this place for a quiet little lunch or dinner with a friend or loved one. Prizes are really reasonable and won't break the bank!

It has been a while since I have ate here but I do remember their pizza have a unique taste that I enjoyed. Great alternative to some of the other well-known pizza franchises.
